Week 75.1

Dazed
I don't know how i'm managing to even workout, but I did squats and deadlifts on Monday.

I'm moving on Thursday, still putting in 10+ hour days, plus other crap. I'm gonna try to keep working out one more week, then take another 1-2 weeks off, then do my final test.

hmm.. there is just one thing. Have you ever tried whey proteins? Maybe you haven't got enough because of your diet.

Hey Joel
I watched all of your videos and read nearly every post u made. I saw you sprinting and I have to say that it doesn't look like it. You seem to have not enough calf strength because you sprint on flat foot and not on toes. Try to improve calf strenth with jumpsoles or something. I know that the calfs don't contribute too much to your vertical but they are still very important. If you don't have enough calf strenth you won't be able to transform the power upwards. I Hope I could help you.

I've just recently started training at this new place called VERT fitness, and it's really really cool. They're these super high-tech machines that constantly adjust their resistance based on how much force you exert in order to keep you moving at a constant speed. With the one I go to it's 1-on-1 personal training which includes everything from work on the machines, to abs, to cardio, all that good stuff and the machines are designed almost specifically for jumping. I've been working out there for the last 2 weeks and i've already gained 3 inches on my running vertical.

So I'd say if you have the budget to do it, it's definitely something that's worth looking into. Their website is vertfitness.com.

Another plus to training their is that because they're hydraulic machines they don't cause joint pain from the workouts. (ie knee pain on the squat machines)

As always good luck.
