Today was disappointing. I'm moving backwards in my vertical. This, despite the fact i had a good week of working out and had felt lighter on my feet. Mickey and I agree my mechanics are crap. Maybe the core exercises are messing with me?
I'm not motivated to do a video, but I guess I should, to be consistent...
it's gonna be hard getting out of bed to workout this week. It's one thing to hit a plateau, but to drop backwards is a deflater.

Come on now J - this is still totally doable. It may not happen in the scheduled two months. But shit, you're on the right track.
Look at this possibility: with your weight loss you're probably loosing muscle too. There may be a time during the first months that, as you're shedding lbs., your explosiveness will take a hit. So this feels like your moving backwards - but really you're winning the war. It's just that loosing weight and building explosive muscles at the same time may be impossible.
Cut your self some slack and give yourself 6 to 9 more months to get this done.
Now get your ass in gear.
not that it wasn't in gear - just keep it in gear - you know what I mean.
